Membrane Filter Press With Bombay Doors

Membrane Filter Press With Bombay Doors includes thrust plates, head and tail plates, base, main plate and push plates, which together form the support frame of the filter press. The filter plate is one of the key components of the filter press. It is usually made of raw material reinforced polypropylene, and the filter cloth is selected according to the properties of the customer's materials. The automatic flap system of the flap filter press is its core part, which is mainly composed of the drive cylinder frame connection, panel leg bearings and matching bearing seats. During the production and filtration process, the automatic flap system is in a closed state to collect filtrate or flushing liquid and guide it into the liquid collection tanks on both sides. When unloading (unloading the filter cake) is required, the system is in an open state to ensure the complete fall of the filter cake. This design can not only collect the liquid dripping from the filter plate, but also prevent the dehydrated material from being soaked.

Structural Features:

During the filtration stage, the material enters the filtration area from the feeding system and is separated and filtered through the micropores on the surface of the filter cloth. When the solid particles increase, the resistance of the filter cloth increases. At this time, the hydraulic cylinder exerts pressure on the pressing plate, which gradually compresses the solid particles into a thin filter cake. The liquid in the filtration area is gradually discharged, thus completing the solid-liquid separation process. After the filtration is completed, the flap filter press enters the flap unloading stage. The hydraulic cylinder presses the filter cake more tightly, and then the bottom filter cloth and the flap turn outward together. The pressure of the filter cake adhering to the filter cloth disappears instantly, and the filter cake falls off and falls into the hopper. It can collect the liquid dripping from the filter plate to prevent the dehydrated material from being soaked.
